Sam Lee Victor (he/him) is a playwright, producer, and actor based in New York. He's a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where he studied Drama.
His work centers on telling trans stories that are as diverse as the community itself.
His full-length play, Casual, was workshopped in New York City in 2023, under We Who Wander Productions. His full-length play, The Bind, was named a Finalist for the Mouths of Babes Theatre Company's 2025 Scotopia Festival.
His ten-minute play, A Disorderly House, was one of the winners of ENOUGH!: Plays to End Gun Violence’s 2023 Competition. The play was performed all over the country as part of a nationwide reading, as well as at the Kennedy Center.
He was a 2024 Lambda Literary Playwriting Fellow, studying under Roger Q. Mason. He has been published by Playscripts and Smith & Kraus.
He passes out in museums.

Sam will attend Sewanee Writers' Conference in July of 2026 as a member of their Playwriting Cohort, studying under Anne Washburn, Lauren Yee, Brittany K. Allen, and Nathan Alan Davis
Sam is currently a Producing Intern at Wagner Johnson Productions, working on the Broadway productions of DREAMGIRLS, OEDIPUS, DOG DAY AFTERNOON, and INTER ALIA
