Sam Lee Victor (he/him) is a playwright, producer, and actor based in New York. He centers his work around creating and telling unabashed trans stories.

His play, THE BIND was a finalist for Mouths of Babes Theatre Company's 2025 Scotopia Festival. His play, CASUAL was workshopped by We Who Wander Productions in New York City in 2023.

His ten-minute play, A DISORDERLY HOUSE, was one of the winners of the ENOUGH!: Plays to End Gun Violence Competition in 2023. As a winning play, A DISORDERLY HOUSE was performed across the country as part of a nation-wide reading, with a cornerstone reading at The Kennedy Center, and has since been published by Playscripts.

His ten-minute, “There Can Only Be One”, was produced by OUT/PLAY in their Summer Shorts series in 2026.

He was a Lambda Literary Playwriting Fellow in 2024, under Roger Q. Mason, and attended Sewanee’s Writers Conference as a part of their Playwriting cohort in 2026, under Lauren Yee and Anne Washburn. He is a member of The Cult Collective’s QUEERSPEECH Writers Group (2026-2027).

He has been published by Playscripts and Smith & Kraus.

As a producer, he was the Producing Intern at Wagner Johnson Productions (WJP) from 2025-2026, working on OEDIPUS, DOG DAY AFTERNOON, GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES, ALL OUT, among others. He additionally assisted with several developmental sessions while at WJP, including for IMITATION OF LIFE, HAPPY FEET, and the upcoming Broadway revival of DREAMGIRLS.

Presently, he is the Development Associate of Individual Giving at Lincoln Center Theater, currently working on A FEW GOOD MEN and THE SOUND OF MUSIC.
