Sam Lee Victor (he/him) is a playwright and actor in his fourth year studying Drama (Acting) at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). When he's not in the middle of nowhere in North Carolina, he lives just outside of New York (in other words, New Jersey).
His work centers on telling trans stories, specifically ones of trans joy.
His full-length play, Casual, was workshopped in New York City in 2023, under We Who Wander Productions. His full-length play, The Bind, was named a Finalist for the Mouths of Babes Theatre Company's 2025 Scotopia Festival. His ten-minute play, A Disorderly House, was one of the winners of ENOUGH!: Plays to End Gun Violence’s 2023 Competition. The play was performed all over the country as part of a nationwide reading, as well as at the Kennedy Center. He was a Lambda Literary Playwriting Fellow for their 2024 Writing Retreat, studying under Roger Q. Mason. He has been published by Playscripts and Smith & Kraus.
He passes out in museums.
